Job summary

Alter Metal Recycling in Negaunee, MI is seeking a Non-Ferrous Warehouse Associate to join our recycling team. You will provide great customer service, assist customers with weighing and inspecting material, and help operate equipment such as forklift, balers, and shaker table to support the process.

Work in a warehouse environment exposed to the elements, with opportunities to learn and grow in metal recycling.

Qualifications

• Previous Customer Service Experience preferred.
• Previous Warehouse Experience preferred.
• Previous Metal Scrap Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide great customer service at our Non-Ferrous area.
• Assist customers with weighing and inspecting material.
• Learn and operate machines (forklift, balers, shaker table, etc.) to help with the recycling process.
• Work in a warehouse type environment subject to the elements.
