Job summary

Alter Trading is seeking a dedicated team member to handle inbound non-ferrous metals from the public at our Green Bay facility. You will weigh materials, input commodity codes, and place items in the correct locations, while delivering excellent customer service.

The role involves assisting customers with weighing and inspecting materials, and learning to operate forklifts, balers, shaker tables, and related equipment in a warehouse setting exposed to the elements.

Qualifications

• Customer service or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with metal scrap preferred.
• Willingness to operate heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide great customer service in the Non-Ferrous area.
• Assist customers with weighing and inspecting material.
• Learn and operate machines (forklift, balers, shaker table, etc.) to help with the recycling process.

The Role:

This position identifies and receives inbound non-ferrous metals to be recycled from the general public. This process is done by weighing material, inputting the correct commodity code into the system and then putting the material in its proper location.

JOB SUMMARY
