Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of driving experience required.
• CPR certification required or provided.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based apps and MS Office preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must pass pre-hire lift test, drug screen, and CORI/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments.
• Assist patients entering/exiting vehicle; secure wheelchairs.
• Maintain a clean, well-equipped vehicle and follow safety standards.
• Coordinate pickup/drop-off times with dispatchers and healthcare professionals.
• Provide courteous, empathetic customer service.
• Complete required paperwork: trip logs, mileage records, and incident reports.
• Adhere to traffic laws and prioritize patient safety.
• Demonstrate flexibility with changing schedules and patient needs.
