Job summary

WT All Access Transportation, Inc. is seeking paratransit shuttle drivers to join our team in Oakland, CA. You will transport individuals with disabilities safely and on time following daily manifests.

Responsibilities include assisting passengers, maintaining vehicle readiness, and communicating with dispatch via Garmin System. A valid license, CPR, and VDDP certification are required, with prior disability-transport experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Prior driving experience helpful.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in transportation of individuals with disabilities.
• Valid Class C Driver's License or Commercial License Required
• Safe driving history
• CPR certification
• VDDP CERTIFICATION

Responsibilities

• Transporting passengers as listed on a driver manifest, with designated pickup/drop-off locations and times.
• Maintaining a secure environment for passengers, including escorting riders from curb to vehicle and assisting as needed.
• Exercising patience and professionalism toward passengers, families, staff, and the public.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
• Ensure proper maintenance of vehicle, perform basic checks, and report issues to Manager.
• Communicate with dispatch via the Garmin System.
• Report customer complaints to the manager immediately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

WT All Access Transportation Inc. is a transportation company that provides safe, reliable, transportation to individuals with disabilities, individuals with special needs and other assigned passengers. We are currently seeking paratransit shuttle drivers to join our team!

Summary:

Responsible for timely and safe transportation of individuals with disabilities by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Transporting passengers as listed on a driver manifest, which includes designated pick-up and drop-off locations and times, issued daily.
• Maintaining a secure environment for passengers, including escorting riders from the curb of the pick-up or drop-off point to and from the vehicle and providing physical assistance to passengers, when requested.
• Exercising patience and sensitivity toward all passengers and practices professionalism in action and in speech to family members, staff at offices, agencies, and the general public
• Operate company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
• Ensures proper maintenance of vehicle to include checking oil and fuel, keeping vehicle neat and clean and reporting all accidents/damage/malfunctions to Manager.
• Communicates with dispatch via the Garmin System.
• Reports all customer complaints to the manager immediately.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
