Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Order Selector at our Wyoming, MI distribution center. You will be on your feet for long shifts, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in cold/freezer environments.

Training is provided, and no prior experience is required. The role offers a starting pay of $21.90 per hour (includes a $1 shift premium) with the potential for raises based on speed and efficiency, plus opportunities for additional earnings through performance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
• Read, write and communicate in English.
• Pass a drug test and a background check.

Responsibilities

• You will be on your feet for up to 10 hours per shift.
• You will lift up to 100 pounds.
• You may work in a freezer environment.

Requirements

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!
• We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you're here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
