Job Title: Non-commission Officer

Location: Dallas, TX

Schedule: Monday-Friday (all Shifts-7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a)

Weekends: Saturday, Sunday 7a-7p, 7p-7a

Pay: $21.50/hour

Must be at least 21 years of age

Minimum 3 years of experience in security

Knowledge of Fire Panel Alarm Systems, CCTV, HVAC, Access Control Systems, and other building equipment

Reliable transportation

Professional, articulate, able to use good independent judgment and discretion

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail, ability to interact at all organizational levels and with clients, and functioning as a team player

Valid Level 2 Texas Guard Card required

Primary Purpose and Function

The Security Flex Officer is responsible for providing security services at assigned locations, focusing on observing and reporting. Duties include monitoring activity, conducting various patrols (foot, vehicular, golf cart, bicycle), reporting suspicious activities or persons, writing detailed reports, maintaining daily activity reports, enforcing post orders, site rules, policies, procedures, and responding to emergencies.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Execute security services as per Post Order Manual and company policies.
  • Conduct patrols of the building or facility, including vehicle, golf cart, or bicycle patrols.
  • Identify and report security threats, hazards, and emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents following Post Orders and company policies, ensuring proper reporting and notification.
  • Perform security, customer service, or support functions as directed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Military experience or college education in security preferred.
  • Valid guard registration/permit/license required by the state.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to operate motor vehicles, golf carts, or bicycles if required.
  • Reliable transportation or access to public transit.
  • Professional, articulate, with good judgment and discretion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels and with clients.
