We are looking for professional, motivated individuals to provide customer service while providing security to high-rise buildings in the Houston area. Full-time, part-time, and flex positions are immediately available.

Job Purpose:

Maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by monitoring and patrolling premises and personnel.

Duties:

1. Secures premises and personnel by monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
2. Maintains departmental security procedures while patrolling areas such as building lobby, floors, parking garage, loading dock, building perimeter, and outer perimeter.
3. Controls all traffic in the loading dock, both vehicular and pedestrian, and monitors all material entering or leaving the dock area.
4. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policies and procedures; restraining trespassers.
5. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
6. Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
7. Ensures the operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
8. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills / Qualifications:

• Observational skills, dealing with uncertainty, judgment, objectivity, dependability, emotional control, integrity, safety management, and professionalism.
• Ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs, respond to emergencies promptly, and lift heavy objects.
• Experience is preferred but not required for some accounts.
• A valid ID / driver’s license is required.
