What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
  • Sign acceptance for each vehicle delivered
  • Inspect vehicles for safety compliance and noticeable defects such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and mechanical issues
  • Detect minor chips and scratches in paint surfaces
  • Test vehicle operation by starting the engine and driving the vehicle to check steering, brakes, transmission, and engine performance
  • Activate power equipment (windows, seats, radio, lights, signals) to ensure proper operation
  • Replace defective items using hand tools according to specifications
  • Install optional equipment like mirrors, rugs, or seat covers as specified
  • Install or repair major mechanical, hydraulic, or electromechanical components such as radios, air conditioners, power steering, and brakes
  • Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments
  • Tune engines with appropriate test equipment and tools as needed
What are the requirements for this job?
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6-12 months of previous work experience
  • Ability to understand written instructions
  • General mechanical skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
  • Manual dexterity, good judgment, and safe operation of tools and machinery
  • Ability to operate an automobile

Our compensation rates start at $23 per flag hour
