Responsibilities include:

  • Triage and greet patients; obtain medical history and vital signs
  • Show patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examinations, including explaining procedures
  • Perform basic lab tests and sample analyses, including venipuncture, injections, IV starts, urinalysis, and drug screens
  • Operate and assist with medical equipment following Radiation Safety Procedures and ALARA principles
  • Assist practitioners with examinations and procedures; assist with medication administration
  • Deliver post-exam instructions and perform follow-ups
  • Document all patient information accurately in charts

Requirements

  • Prior experience preferred
  • Proficiency in medical terminology
  • Computer skills or applicable experience
  • Ability to transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher
  • Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work all shifts
  • BLS certification
  • LMRT/NCT license
