Cleveland Clinic’s Independence Family Health Center is seeking an Ophthalmic Assistant to support the ophthalmologist in patient care and administrative tasks. You will help with examinations, testing, documentation and clerical duties in a welcoming, patient-friendly environment.
Typical hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm. A High School Diploma or GED and ophthalmic experience or training are required; knowledge of medical terminology is essential. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 is offered.

As an Ophthalmic Assistant, you will support the Ophthalmologist by performing various clinical and administrative tasks throughout the department. You will assist with direct patient care as directed, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and at ease throughout their appointment and exam. A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Minimum hourly: $16.47
Maximum hourly: $23.61
