Position Purpose

As a Yard Driver, you will be responsible for maintaining yard organization and safely spotting trailers at dock doors and throughout the yard. You will also update trailer moves or any yard activity via a hand-held device.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse tasks as needed
• Safely spot trailers at dock doors and yard locations; drive yard trucks and spot at designated locations
• Yard auditing to ensure yard accuracy using the Yard Management System

Reporting Structure

• Typically reports to the Operations Manager
• Has no direct reports

Additional Information

• No travel required
• Physical requirements include walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting heavy or awkward items
• Work environment involves exposure to temperature extremes, machinery, noise, and fumes
• Minimum qualifications: legal work permit, age 21+, valid driver’s license, ability to load/unload heavy items
• Education: High school diploma or GED
• No prior work or leadership experience required
