Job summary

Staffmark in Chino, CA is hiring a NON-CDL Yard Driver to move trailers with a yard goat, roughly 80+ moves per shift, with safety first. Pay is $25.00 per hour; schedule is Mon–Fri, 6:00 am–2:30 pm. You will inspect vehicles, complete required docs, and coordinate with dispatch.

Requirements: valid Class C license, 1 year yard-goat experience, clean driving record; strong time management and customer service. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), weekly pay.

Operate a yard goat to move and switch trailers between docks, completing approximately 80+ moves per shift. Must be comfortable with tight maneuvering, blindside backing, and working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

Job Duties

• Yard hostlers will drive and maneuver yard goat & trailers from dock to dock, switching out trailers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, moving approximately 80+ moves per shift, and be able to blindside back
• Safety is always the key, so the driver must be safety-minded

As a NON CDL Yard Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.
