Job summary
Wesco in the United States is hiring a non-CDL Truck Driver to support distribution and supply chain operations for a Fortune 250 company. You will learn Wesco’s distribution techniques and contribute to timely delivery and pickup of goods.
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Applicants must hold a valid Truck Driver license and have at least 2 years of driving experience. Benefits include training opportunities, health options, 401k, and more.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid Truck Driver license.
- 2 years of truck driving experience required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Good vision for near/far/night and ability to hear differences in sounds.
- Able to quickly respond to signals (sound/light/picture) during operations.
Responsibilities
- Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo.
- Maintain contact with dispatcher to receive delivery instructions.
- Verify contents of inventory with shipping papers.
- Maintain records per regulations.
- Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs.
- Present bills/receipts and collect payments for goods.
