Job summary

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver to operate non-CDL company vehicles, assist with warehouse tasks, and manage inventory.

The role requires safety-first behavior and clear communication with warehouse teams, project crews, and management to ensure smooth daily operations on multiple NJ job sites. Expect a 6:00 AM start, 6-day work weeks, and a compensation range of $20.00–$22.00 per hour with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English to read plans and communicate with team.
• 1–2 years of driving commercial box trucks or similar.
• Valid New Jersey Driver’s License with clean record; DOT Medical Card required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient with GPS routing and reliable with a 6:00 AM start; detail-oriented with paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 16-foot rack truck in urban and active construction zones.
• Pickup material orders from local vendors and suppliers.
• Verify orders against paperwork before loading.
• Deliver materials to active jobsites and unload safely.
• Verify materials and quantities with site foreman to avoid errors.
• Assist with loading/unloading pipes, equipment, and fittings.
• Secure loads with straps or ropes and perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Maintain professional conduct at jobsites and supplier locations.
