Overview

The full-time Truck Driver is responsible for delivering materials to customer job sites, operating forklifts, and maintaining the lumber yard and warehouse. Candidates must have a valid state-issued driver’s license and a safe driving record. Responsibilities include:

• Building loads for delivery and unloading freight, including lumber and building supplies
• Operating forklifts (training and certification provided)
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard and warehouse
• Communicating delays or discrepancies with management
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 21 years old
• Proficiency in English for communication and understanding traffic signs
• Ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Annual submission of a true and correct Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and violations list or certificate, as per FMCSA regulations
• Physical qualifications to operate a commercial vehicle as per FMCSA
• No disqualifications under FMCSA regulations
• Completion of a driver’s road test and possession of a valid certificate or its equivalent
• Possession of a commercial motor vehicle license, if required by the truck/hauler
• Valid and current Medical Exam certificate or card, if required
• High school diploma or GED
