A. Duie Pyle, Inc. in Castleton-On-Hudson, NY is seeking an experienced Local Non-CDL Truck Driver to operate a NON-CDL straight truck for pickups and deliveries within our LTL network.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current or able to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to obtain TSA security clearance.
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Responsibilities

• Complete pickups and deliveries to various locations.
• Perform liftgate deliveries and loading/unloading as needed.
• Ensure vehicle and freight security; comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Build relationships with customers through clear communication.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Job description

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Local Non-CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Castleton-On-Hudson. This role operates a NON-CDL straight truck to complete pickups and deliveries to our various LTL customer locations.

• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• No more than three moving violations and or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
• Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance

NON-CDL Truck Driver responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Completing pick up and deliveries to various location(s)
• Performing lift gate deliveries, including unloading and loading at stops as needed
• Ensuring the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhering to all FMCSA safety regulations and guidelines
• Building relationships through excellent communication with customers
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
