Job summary

Summit Beverage is seeking a dependable delivery driver in Kalispell, MT to load, deliver, and unload product for large-volume stores. You will stock shelves, rotate items, and set up displays to maximize visibility and sales.

A valid DOT Medical Card and a clean driving record are required, with shifts typically four 10-hour days and possible Saturdays. You will communicate with store representatives and the Sales team daily, manage your route efficiently, and ensure safe handling of products

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• DOT Medical Card - company will help obtain if not currently holding.
• Previous delivery experience. Grocery/retail/beverage experience a plus.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, other governmental agencies, and the public as appropriate.
• Ability to manage own route and delegate effectively.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and independently with good time management.
• Ability to handle wide range of tasks.
• Understand and effectively communicate Summit Beverage's organizational mission and goals.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily work request at start of each workday and have schedules signed off by account management (Store Representative).
• Execute delivery to all accounts as scheduled by Supervisor.
• Stock, rotate, and face product in coolers, on shelves, racks, and in displays.
• Review account instructions as provided by Supervisor or Sales Representatives.
• Communicate with appropriate Sales Representatives daily.
• Execute delivery to all accounts as scheduled by Supervisor.
• Pull outdated, damaged, and unsellable products – place in back stock and notify Sales Representative.
• Stock, rotate, and face product in coolers, on shelves, racks, and in displays.
• Work all back stock (re-stock neatly and securely) as required by Supervisor and Sales Representative.
• Set up and rotate sales promotion displays (including signage) according to store and Company standards.
• Assist in resolving customer inquiries and service complaints.
• Notify Supervisor of any problems or opportunities with assigned accounts.
• Follow monthly PFP (Pay For Performance) objectives.
• Complete other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Director of Delivery Operations.
