Job summary

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. in Newark, NJ is seeking a dependable Truck Driver to operate non-CDL company vehicles, assist with warehouse operations, and manage accurate inventory handling.

You will deliver materials to active jobsites and support project teams with safety-conscious practices. The role requires 1–2 years of delivery experience, a valid NJ driver’s license, DOT medical card, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must speak, read, and understand English to read road signs and paperwork.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience driving commercial box/rack trucks.
• Valid New Jersey Driver’s License with clean record; DOT Medical Card required or to be obtained.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds during loading/unloading.
• Proficient with GPS routing and detail-oriented with on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 16-foot rack truck and support daily warehouse operations.
• Pick up material orders from vendors and ensure timely collection.
• Verify orders against paperwork before loading.
• Deliver materials to active jobsites and unload safely.
• Verify materials and quantities with job foreman to avoid errors.
• Assist with loading/unloading pipes, equipment, and fittings.
• Secure loads with straps, chains, or ropes.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Represent Haddad Plumbing professionally at sites and suppliers.
