Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a motivated Delivery Driver (non-CDL) to load, transport, and deliver building materials to customer sites. You will verify orders, maintain delivery logs, and provide professional service while complying with DVIR/HOS and safety rules.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver's license, good MVR, and ability to read and speak English. Frequent lifting and operating delivery vehicles are expected in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, and valid driver’s license.
• Pass MVR report.
• Obtain a DOT medical card within five days of a request.
• Have less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.
• Basic math & measurement skills.
• Ability to read and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Loads and secures product inside delivery vehicle.
• Delivers orders to specified sites and unloads materials safely.
• Verifies order details and maintains logs of deliveries (mileage, weights, locations).
• Acts as customer service liaison between BFS and the site customer; resolves issues as needed.
• Maintains delivery vehicle cleanliness and performs safety checks.
• Uses handheld devices to ensure DVIR/HOS compliance and logs pre/post trip inspections.
• Operates forklift or manual handling equipment as needed.
• Follows all safety procedures to prevent injuries and may suggest improvements.
