Job summary

Builders FirstSource in Leesburg, VA is seeking a non-CDL driver to load, transport and deliver building materials to customer sites. This role operates vehicles 26,000 lbs GVWR or less and requires safe handling and accurate documentation.

You will use a handheld device for DVIR/HOS compliance, maintain delivery logs, and serve as a customer service liaison. A high school diploma or GED, 21+ and a valid license are required; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years of age with a valid driver's license.
• Pass MVR and obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to read maps and routes.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport and deliver material to customer sites.
• Secure loads and protect products; unload as needed and ensure accurate delivery.
• Maintain logs of deliveries, weights, mileage and locations.
• Serve as customer service liaison and resolve concerns.
• Conduct pre/post trip inspections and maintain safety procedures.
