Job summary

Iron Mountain in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Local Route Driver to join our Operations team. You will safely operate a vehicle and deliver exceptional customer service on your dedicated local route.

The role emphasizes meticulous transport, accurate paperwork, and strict adherence to DOT and Iron Mountain security standards. You will be the face of Iron Mountain on the road, coordinating with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high safety and security standards.

Qualifications

• 1 - 2 years of preferred experience in route transportation or a similar field.
• Drive a Commercial Box Truck / Mobile Shred Unit / Tipper
• Make an average of 15+ stops daily.
• Use wireless scanning technology/ preparing paperwork.
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and security procedures, including the ability to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical.
• Proven ability to perform the physical tasks required, including safely lifting up to 70 pounds and carrying/moving heavy bins, and exhibiting safe, efficient driving skills.
• A valid Driver's License with a good driving record and a minimum age of 21.

Responsibilities
