Job summary

Hub Group Final Mile is seeking an Owner Operator/Independent Service Provider Driving Team for appliance delivery routes with basic hook up. Appliances delivered range from refrigerators to washers and more.

You must own a 16' or 26' box truck with a lift gate and be prepared to work as a two-person team on local, home-daily deliveries with installation responsibilities. Benefits include weekly settlements and direct deposit, with opportunities to expand into appliance installation support and

Qualifications

• Own or lease a 16' or 26' box truck with a lift gate.
• Active MC Operating Authority and DOT number with FMCSA.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Professional appliance installer experience or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate delivery including installation of appliances.
• Select and use basic tools to assemble, adjust, and install various appliances.
• Follow complex installation instructions per manufacturer specifications to complete installation.
• Ability to maneuver items with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Provide a two-person delivery team.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record for all drivers
• Contractors/Owner Operators must have an active MC Operating Authority and DOT number with the FMCSA (or are willing to obtain)
• Must own, rent or lease a 16' or 26' box truck with a lift gate
• Must have a personal set of tools
• Professional work experience as an Appliance Installer or a willingness to learn the trade

About the Position:
