Job summary

Hub Group Final Mile is seeking a driver team for appliance delivery routes with basic hookup. The role requires owning a 26' box truck with a lift gate and providing a two-person crew for installations across refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, and laundry appliances.

Candidates should have a valid license and good driving record, with FMCSA authority or willingness to obtain it. Local home daily deliveries, weekly settlements, and direct deposit are offered as part of the position.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Active MC Authority and DOT number with FMCSA (or willingness to obtain).
• Own, rent, or lease a 26' box truck with a lift gate.
• Professional experience as an appliance installer or willingness to learn the trade.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install appliances timely and accurately.
• Assemble, adjust, and install appliances using basic tools.
• Follow manufacturer instructions to complete installations (refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, laundry, etc.).
• Maneuver items with appropriate equipment and assistance.
• Provide a two-person delivery team.

*Contractors must own, rent or lease a 26' box truck with a lift gate and ideally provide their own Driver Helper.

Requirements:

• Contractors/Owner Operators must have an active MC Operating Authority and DOT number with the FMCSA (or are willing to obtain)

About the Position:

Hub Group Final Mile is looking for an Owner Operator/Independent Service Provider Driving Team for appliance delivery routes with basic hook up. Appliances being installed can range from refrigerators, microwave ovens, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and other home appliances.

Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate delivery including installation of appliances
• Select and use basic tools to assemble, adjust, and install various appliances
• Must be able to follow complex installation instructions as per manufacturer specifications to complete installation of Refrigerators, Dishwashers, Stoves, Laundry, etc
• Ability to maneuver items with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
• Provide a two-person delivery team
