Base pay range

$15.00/hr - $17.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Hand select orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including dry, cooler, and freezer
• Ensure all product within orders is properly labeled
• Stack product on pallets following proper selecting procedures (for example, no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.)
• Ability to engage an electric pallet jack to transport products
• Stage pallets for loading
• Shrink-wrap product as necessary on the loading dock
• Frequently lift product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds
• Regularly reach up to 72 inches
• Constantly bend and twist while operating equipment or retrieving items from lower shelf areas
• Follow all required sanitizing, disinfecting, and cleaning procedures
• Maintain organization and zoning throughout all warehouse product storage areas
• Assist with all product offloading and organizing from external vendors
• Safely and efficiently operate a variety of vehicles including commercial trucks, refrigerated trailers, box trucks, vans, and forklifts.
• Drive to Smashin Crab restaurants to deliver product from commissary.
• Drive to vendors/suppliers as needed for product pickup.
• Drive to clients as needed to deliver product.
• Load and unload items from the vehicle using appropriate equipment or by hand.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Communicate with management to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents that occur during transportation.
• Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and helpful during interactions with the managers and/or clients.
