Job summary

Alside is hiring for a warehouse/delivery role in the United States. You will perform local deliveries to residential and commercial sites and operate vehicles and forklifts with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, keeping delivery logs, complying with DOT rules, and assisting with inventory control. A high school diploma or GED and a clean driving record are required; 1 year driving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of driving experience.
• Experience with building products is very helpful.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Clean driving record - no more than 3 violations in the previous 3 years.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Ability to read and interpret safety policies and procedures.
• High School diploma or GED.

• Safely and efficiently operate vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, warehouse forklifts.
• Assist in day-to-day functions of warehouse operations while following safety practices and wearing required PPE.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs.
• Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, material handling practices, and load securement policies.
• Communicate with supply center team and customers for accurate, on-time delivery.
• Review discrepancies from inventory and notifies Branch Manager.
• Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure accurate inventory.
• Ensure all merchandise is properly racked and tagged.
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor/ Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality.
