Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a reliable Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to join our logistics operations in the NY Tri-State Area. You will operate a 16 ft to 26 ft box truck, delivering and picking up cargo across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, with a standard 7 AM to 4 PM shift.

This role requires a valid Class D license, a clean 3+ year MVR, 2 years of verifiable box truck experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training and compliance with DOT, HOS logs, and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid, active Class D Standard Driver's License (or state equivalent).
• Clean driving record (MVR) for the past 3+ years.
• Age Requirement: Minimum 21 years old (required by federal law for interstate CMV operation).
• 2 years of verifiable experience driving a 16 ft to 26 ft box truck or medium-duty commercial vehicle, ideally in the NYC Metro/Tri-State area.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 16 ft to 26 ft non-CDL box truck (with liftgate) across NY, NJ, and CT.
• Load, unload, and secure freight using liftgates, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and load straps/e-track systems.
• Execute assigned routes using GPS and dispatch apps to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain Hours of Service logs via ELD or paper logs.
