Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a driver/warehouse associate to deliver materials to customers and assist with loading and unloading while ensuring accurate delivery tickets. The role requires adherence to DOT standards, a valid medical card, and strong customer communication.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, returns processing, and aiding in order preparation in the warehouse. Overtime and safety compliance are expected, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• Follow DOT standards and regulations
• Must maintain a valid DOT Medical card while employed
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus
• Strong communication with customers is essential
• Ability to use basic technology including iPads

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers, assist with loading/unloading and confirm delivery ticket matches material
• Pick up customer returns and validate product for credit requests
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and fuel as needed
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and packing orders for shipment
• Work overtime as required and comply with PPE and safety regulations

Position Details

• Schedule | Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, plus overtime as needed and at least one Saturday per month from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
• Pay Rate | Starting at $24/hr and may be higher based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a Valid Drivers license
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes assistance with loading and unloading and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range

• $17.95
• $26.92
• Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
• This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
• Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.
• The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
