Job summary

MTM Transit is hiring full-time and part-time non-CDL drivers in State College, PA. Pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Local training classes start every few weeks.

You will provide safe transportation, assist riders with loading and mobility devices, and ensure on-time pickups with a strong focus on customer service. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 21+ years old, PA Class C license or ability to obtain, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Minimum 5 years driving history.
• Valid PA Class C driver's license or ability to obtain.
• No DWI/DUI in last 10 years.
• No more than two moving violations in last 3 years.
• No reckless driving violations.
• Criminal background check required.
• DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screen.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate defensive driving skills to ensure passenger safety.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading and with mobility devices as required.
• Ensure on-time pickup and drop-off of customers.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required paperwork.
• Operate tablets or electronic devices as needed.
