Job summary

US Foods is seeking a delivery driver to support multi-stop routes with early morning shifts. You will load, unload, and transport goods, using a hand scanner to document deliveries and ensure accuracy with customer orders.

The role requires a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to pass a DOT physical, and strong customer service skills. Weekend and overtime availability is expected to meet customer needs and schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with any required endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions in past two years; no DUI in past three years.
• Must be able to pass DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Load and unload the vehicle for multi-stop deliveries.
• Transport deliveries by driving assigned vehicles.
• Use hand truck to move product and navigate stairs as needed.
• Accurately record delivery information with a hand scanner and paperwork.
• Deliver product to designated stops per the day’s plan.
• Monitor refrigeration and follow safe food handling procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain logs.
