Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a customer-focused driver (Non CDL) in Fresno, CA. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver with a high level of customer service.

The role offers autonomy, stable hours, overtime potential, and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include driving a 26ft box truck, safe operations, timely deliveries, pre/post-trip checks, and heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• Non CDL license with a CLEAN driving record and VALID medical card required.
• Six months of driving experience with tractor trailers and/or straight trucks.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience operating vehicles in a safe manner.
• Proven longevity in past employment and on-time delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships.
• Drive a 26ft box truck and operate vehicles in a safe manner.
• Complete deliveries to schedule and communicate changes or challenges.
• Load/unload and organize the truck per schedule needs.
• Follow DOT regulations, log hours and conduct roadside inspections.
• Heavy lifting as part of daily duties.
