US Foods, Inc. is seeking a Non-CDL Driver in Austin, TX. You will operate a company vehicle (GVW up to 14,900 lbs) for multi-stop foodservice deliveries, using a hand truck or two-wheeler to unload, with signatures and proper documentation at each stop.

Qualifications include being 21+, a valid U.S. driver’s license, English literacy, and basic math. DOT Physical required; benefits begin Day One. Schedule accommodates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 5:30 AM–3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with endorsements if required.

Responsibilities

• Safe driving: deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Unloading: unload products using a hand truck or by hand – 100% touch freight.
• Product handling: move products into customer locations, navigate stairs and delivery environments.
• Delivery verification: obtain customer signatures and confirm deliveries.
• Return management: document and manage returned products.
• Issue reporting: communicate delivery or customer issues to supervision.
• Equipment inspection: perform pre- and post-trip safety checks.
• Account management: handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Adaptability: perform other duties as assigned by management.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving a company vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of up to 14,900 lbs. You will make multi-stop deliveries of foodservice products, ensuring a high level of service for our customers. **Key Responsibilities*** **Safe Driving**: Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe manner.* **Unloading:** Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas **– 100% touch freight.*** **Product Handling:** Use a hand truck to move products into customer locations, navigating stairs and various delivery environments as required.* **Delivery Verification**: Verify deliveries with customers & secure signatures.* **Return Management:** Properly document and manage any returned products.* **Issue Reporting:** Communicate any delivery or customer issues to the appropriate personnel, including Customer Service and your supervisor.* **Equipment Inspection**: Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.* **Account Management**: Handle collections and payments when applicable.* **Adaptability:** All other duties assigned by management. **Physical Requirements*** Lift/carry/push/pull/lower 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required.* Driving & working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required.* Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment as low as 0 degrees.* Continuously grasp objects & manipulate objects. Frequently sit, stand, walk, drive, climb/balance, stoop/squat, kneel/bend, bend, reach above shoulder, twist, and use manual dexterity. **Qualifications*** Must be at least 21 years of age.* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.* Valid U.S. driver’s license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required.* No commercial or professional driving experience required.
