Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a dependable Non-CDL Driver for a manufacturing team in Pelzer, SC. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a 3-day weekend and a full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunity.

The role includes loading, unloading, and shipping tasks along with safe driving and customer service during deliveries. Must meet DOT requirements and provide a 10-year DMV driving record. Steel-toe boots and drug screen required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must provide an official 10-year driving record from the DMV.
• Must meet all applicable DOT requirements.
• Ability to comply with a zero-tolerance drug policy.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Steel-toe boots required.
• Drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks, flatbed trucks, trucks with trailers, and forklifts
• Load, transport, and unload manufactured products
• Plan and follow delivery routes efficiently
• Return signed packing lists and delivery paperwork
• Inspect shipments before loading to ensure proper packaging and wrapping
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain driver logs, shipping documents, and DOT-related paperwork
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures
