Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is hiring a driver to safely operate a non-commercial vehicle and deliver containers to customers in the Saint Paul area. The role requires performing pre/post-operation checks, adhering to FCC safety rules, and maintaining courteous communication with dispatchers and customers.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, front load experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a non-commercial motor vehicle to deliver containers to customers.
• Complete pre/post-operation checks of the vehicle per FCC regulations.
• Operate vehicles on routes including roads, neighborhoods and alleys.
• Manually or via joystick controls, following safety procedures.
• Engage courteously with coworkers, dispatchers and customers.
• Document work and maintain productivity to service clients promptly.
• Follow safety regulations and report any issues promptly.

Position Summary:

The driver’s position is responsible for safely operating a non-commercial motor vehicle to deliver containers to customers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Completes a pre/post-operation check of a commercial vehicle in line with FCC regulations to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, safety devices, gauges, and other components are in correct operating condition.

• Ensure commercial vehicles are safely operated on allocated routes that encompass roads, residential neighborhoods, and alleys.

• Ability to manually and/or automate controls and joystick equipment in compliance with the FCC’s safety regulations and procedures.

• Engage courteously with co-workers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure that all services are performed in a timely and professional way.

• Continuously monitors the vehicle’s status to ensure it remains operationally ready to reduce downtime.

• Completes necessary paperwork and other reports accurately.

• Maintains departmental productivity standards to ensure all clients are serviced in a timely and effective way.

• Follows and enforces all safety regulations and procedures.
