Job summary

Prince Lumber is seeking a non-CDL Delivery Driver for the New York, NY area. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, making deliveries, and maintaining safety and accuracy on every delivery.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–4:30 PM, on-site at 618 W 47th Street. A valid license is required; CDL is preferred but not mandatory. Benefits include 401(k) with match and health, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver license with clean record – CDL license preferred but not required.
• Experience driving flatbed trucks and/or box trucks (2+ years required).
• DOT medical card or ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• Customer service focused.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trucks daily, lifting at least 50 lbs, coordinate with warehouse team.
• Follow DOT rules, traffic laws and safety protocols when operating the truck.
• Deliver to customers with on-time service, ensuring product quality and accuracy.

Prince Lumber is a premier supplier and distributor of building materials. With pride, we serve the Tri-state area as a one-stop-shop for hardware, lumber, doors, Plywood etc. We are currently seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver with a great attitude, positive mindset and customer service first mentality to join our team.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Able to unload and load trucks daily. Required to lift & move at least 50 lbs. Work with the warehouse team to confirm all products needed to be delivered are loaded to the truck.
• Always maintain compliance with all DOT rules and regulations. Follow traffic laws and any relevant safety protocols when operating the truck.
• Provide exceptional customer service while making deliveries which includes meeting expected time frames, ensuring the quality and accuracy of the product upon delivery, maintaining a positive attitude and following any special instructions.
• Obtain necessary Proof of Delivery photographs and attach to Eclipse via mobile app. Signature from customer must also be present to confirm delivery of product.
• Report any issues or canceled deliveries to Customer Service or the Operations Manager.
• Keep truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.
• Inspect vehicles for any issues and perform preventative maintenance.

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• On-site in New York, NY
