Job summary

La Mesa RV is hiring a Part Time Non-CDL Driver to support the buying and sales departments with vehicle pickups, cross-country moves, and dealer activity. The role requires reliable, team-oriented drivers with solid driving experience.

The position involves towing and driving company assets, pre-shift checks, and maintenance logging. CDL is preferred but not required; basic computer skills and background checks are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills.
• Pre-employment screenings including background and drug test.
• Valid driver's license.
• Non-CDL drivers must have experience driving larger vehicles such as motorcoaches or box trucks.
• CDL license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Towing and driving of company and customer vehicles.
• Check all vehicles in accordance with transportation vehicle check sheet before starting.
• Inspect vehicle for damage and log any discrepancies on your driver’s log sheet.
• Wash and fuel as needed and alert the Operations Manager of any maintenance that the vehicle may require.

Assist buying and sales department with purchase pickups, cross country moves and dealer activity and transport.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Towing and driving of company and customer vehicles.
• Check all vehicles in accordance with transportation vehicle check sheet before starting.
• Inspect vehicle for damage and log any discrepancies on your drivers log sheet.
• Wash and fuel as needed and alert the Operations Manager of any maintenance that the vehicle may require.
• Ability to pass driving training and safety courses upon hiring
