Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a customer-focused NON CDL driver to operate a 26 ft box truck in the Taylor, MI area, collecting sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and delivering exceptional service daily.

The role offers autonomy, steady hours, OT potential, and comprehensive benefits. A $3k sign-on bonus is available for new hires, with $1k paid after 30 days and $2k after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Non CDL Driving experience required.
• Delivery experience with manual handling.
• Willingness to work full-time hours (~40 hrs/week).
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Passing the 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus.
• Experience operating vehicles up to 26 ft box trucks.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Confident in road checks level 1–3.
• Proven longevity in past employment.
• On-time delivery practices.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused NON CDL driver to operate a truck across the Taylor, MI area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, stable hours, access to some OT and good benefits. Our vehicle fleet is modern and well-maintained. What will your job involve?

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships

What are we looking for?

• Non CDL Driving Experience required
• Delivery experience within any industry where you have dealt with manual handling (advantageous not mandatory)
• Willingness to work full time hours, approx. 40 hours a week
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Experience operating vehicles in a safe manner (as large as 26 ft box trucks)
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3
• Proven longevity in past employment
• On time delivery practices
