Job summary

York County Community Action Corp. seeks a qualified Non-CDL Bus Driver for the York County Transportation Program. This full-time role involves transporting passengers on Demand Response and Flex Routes and assisting riders, including those with mobility devices.

Training will be provided; pay is commensurate with experience. Generous benefits package available for full-time employees working 30+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a background check, pre-employment physical, and pre-employment drug screen.
• 3+ years of commercial driving experience required.
• Ability to comply with Federal drug/alcohol testing and FMCSA regulations.
• Clean driving record with defensive driving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to communicate with clients with courtesy and respect.
• Route transportation or delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers to and from destinations on Demand Response and Flex Routes.
• Assist passengers, including those using mobility devices, on/off the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate records of all passengers and vehicle statistics.

Non-CDL Bus Driver

Full Time AM Shift

The York County Transportation Program seeks a qualified individual to transport persons to and from their destination for general public Demand Response and Flex Routes. Requires assisting all passengers, including those using mobility devises on and off the vehicle.

The successful applicant should possess the following qualifications, skills and abilities:

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to comply with Federal drug/alcohol testing requirements and all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations according to the US Dept. of Transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check, pre-employment physical and pre-employment drug screen.
• A minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience.
• Route transportation or delivery experience preferred.
• A clean driving record with good defensive driving skills.
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of maintaining accurate record keeping of all passengers and vehicle statistics.
• The ability to communicate with clients with courtesy and respect.

Training will be provided as applicable.
