Job description

Safety-Sensitive Position: Driver – Non-Commercial Driver’s License

Job Description:

Under the direction of the Program Director and/or Tour Manager, the Driver – Non-CDL is responsible for safely transporting all Brewco Marketing Group and program/tour assets to various locations within the United States and Canada, assisting with the setup and teardown of each event activation, serving as a program/tour ambassador, and providing general assistance during event activation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of the driver, passenger(s), truck, trailer, and any other assets.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Transport truck or truck and trailer to locations within the United States and Canada.
  • Check vehicle(s) to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working condition. Convey needed equipment maintenance to supervisor.
  • Inspect load(s) to ensure cargo is secure for transport utilizing items such as straps, ropes, blocks, chains, binders, covers, and other miscellaneous tie-down equipment as needed.
  • Maintain open communication lines among BMG supervisor(s) and tour staff.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and safety guidelines for program/tour assets and staff.
  • Research event location(s), plan for parking and area of event activation, and ensure safe ingress and egress for site location.
  • Actively participate in scheduled event(s) as required.
  • Assist in the safe and efficient setup of the event activation, provide leadership on activation days, and assist in teardown of all elements associated with the interior and exterior of the display trailers.
  • Direct communication with BMG supervisor on program status.
  • All other duties assigned.

Essential Licenses, Certifications, Registrations and Insurability:

All Drivers must have a current driver’s license and possess a current DOT Medical Card issued by a Certified Medical Examiner. Drivers must be insurable at standard rates.

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Education and Experience:

  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience with driving larger assets preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience with experiential marketing and/or mobile tours preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to eighty (80%) percent of time as needed.
