Job summary

US Foods in West Chester, OH is seeking a dedicated Non-CDL Driver to join our delivery team. You will perform multi-stop deliveries of foodservice products while maintaining safety and accuracy in each step of the process.

You will unload and stock customer locations, verify deliveries with signatures, and handle basic paperwork. A valid license and English communication are required; DOT physical is necessary, with full-time hours Monday to Saturday starting early morning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with any endorsements if required.
• No commercial driving experience required; multi-stop delivery experience preferred.
• DOT physical clearance required.
• Able to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers safely and on time.
• Unload products using hand truck, two-wheeler, or by hand (100% touch freight).
• Move products into customer locations and verify deliveries with signatures.
• Document returns and manage any issues with customer service.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Handle collections and payments when applicable.

Get all the details here.Non-CDL Driver – Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Non-CDL Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving a company vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of up to 14,900 lbs. You will make multi-stop deliveries of foodservice products, ensuring a high level of service for our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesSafe Driving: Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe manner.Unloading: Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas – 100% touch freight.Product Handling: Use a hand truck to move products into customer locations, navigating stairs and various delivery environments as required.Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers & secure signatures.Return Management: Properly document and manage any returned products.Issue Reporting: Communicate any delivery or customer issues to the appropriate personnel, including Customer Service and your supervisor.Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable.Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management.Physical RequirementsLift/carry/push/pull/lower 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required.Driving & working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required.Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment as low as 0 degrees.Continuously grasp objects & manipulate objects. Frequently sit, stand, walk, drive, climb/balance, stoop/squat, kneel/bend, bend, reach above shoulder, twist, and use manual dexterity.QualificationsMust be at least 21 years of age.High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.Valid U.S. driver’s license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required.No commercial or professional driving experience required. One-year of multi-stop delivery experience is preferred or six-months local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry experience.Hand cart delivery experience preferred.Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) are required.Must be able to pass DOT Physical.About US FOODSClick here to learn more!*Registering to the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a requirement by the Department of Transportation.
