Job summary

Hajoca Corporation, a major wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating & cooling and industrial supplies, is seeking a Delivery Driver Non CDL for our Bradenton, FL location. You will operate a truck over 10,000 lbs, load and unload merchandise, collect payments, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires safe driving, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Comprehensive full-time benefits are available.

Qualifications

Be able to drive a vehicle over 10,000 lbs.
21 years or older.
Possess a valid driver's license.
Pass a Department of Transportation physical exam before starting and every two years while employed.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks safely and in compliance with company rules and applicable laws.
Load the truck with Hajoca merchandise and secure it for delivery; ensure unloading equipment is available.
Understand and verify shipping documents and directions for each delivery.
Review shipping documents for order accuracy and obtain legible signatures on delivery.
Collect and secure payments for all cash sale deliveries prior to releasing merchandise.
Assist customers at delivery site to resolve shipping discrepancies quickly and accurately.
Load the truck at vendor locations or other Hajoca locations as needed; provide sales leads.
