Job summary

Hajoca Corporation in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Non CDL Delivery Driver to safely deliver plumbing, heating, and cooling supplies. You will load, secure, and unload merchandise, collect payments for cash sales, and provide excellent customer service at customer sites and job sites.

Qualified candidates are at least 21, possess a valid driver’s license, have a suitable driving record, and can pass a DOT physical. Hajoca offers training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a proper and valid driver's license.
• Have a driving record that meets the criteria for being an Authorized Driver.
• Be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical examination before beginning work and again at least every two years while employed and performing this job function.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely and in compliance with company rules, laws, and regulations.
• Load the truck with Hajoca merchandise and secure the load so nothing shifts or gets damaged.
• Understand and verify shipping documents and delivery directions.
• Review shipping documentation for order accuracy and obtain legible signatures for delivered merchandise.
• Collect payments for all cash sale deliveries prior to releasing material to the customer.
• Work with customers at delivery sites to resolve shipping discrepancies quickly and accurately.
• Load merchandise at other locations as needed, including vendor locations and other wholesalers.
