Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a driver in Blythewood, SC to load, transport and deliver building materials to customer sites. Non-CDL drivers (10,001–26,000 lbs) are welcome; you will follow DVIR/HOS, perform pre/post trip inspections, and uphold safety standards. You must have a HS diploma or GED, be 21+, hold a valid license and pass an MVR.

Prior building materials delivery is a plus. BFS offers training, competitive pay, benefits, and a team-oriented, safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 21+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR.
• DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure product in delivery vehicle.
• Deliver orders to sites and unload safely.
• Verify order details and maintain logs (mileage/locations).
• Serve as customer liaison and resolve issues.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform safety checks.
• Use handheld devices to comply with DVIR and HOS.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections; may handle returns.
• Operate forklift to load/unload materials.
• Follow safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
