Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Van Driver to deliver, unload, and may collect payment for products to customers on a Tue–Sat schedule. Start times typically between 6:00 and 8:00 am, with 8–10 hours per day (about 40 hours weekly).

Responsibilities include delivering and unloading goods and performing other duties as assigned. Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, 6–12 months delivery experience, and a valid non-commercial driver’s license.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

• 6-12 Months professional driving/delivery experience, touch freight or related area.

(Customized and Specialty)

• 6-12 Months driving experience using a box truck or equivalent
• Valid non-commercial driver's license
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements

(where applicable)

• Must be 21 years of age
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
• Pass pre-employment drug test
• Pass road test
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from approximately 60 to 90 pounds, depending on the location

Compensation

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00, based on experience
