Job summary

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company is looking for a Delivery Driver to service local retail customers, grocery stores and restaurants in the Charlotte and surrounding area. This labor-intensive role starts early, with shifts Monday through Friday beginning at 5:00 am and continuing as business needs dictate.

The position requires a high school degree, age 21+, and a clean motor vehicle record. No CDL is required.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Must be 21+ and pass a criminal background check to qualify for an ABC permit.
• Active driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record for last 3 years.
• Ability to lift 40–60 pounds repeatedly.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Delivery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Review customer orders for accurate delivery of product.
• Merchandise to ensure proper rotation of wine dates, vintages or new labels.
• Resolve delivery issues with Sales Representative and/or office.
• Check pricing accuracy.
• Inspect and clean interior and exterior of delivery truck.
• Perform all required settlement tasks daily.
