Summary

Job Summary

As a full-time Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships because you will have direct, face-to-face contact with Arc3’s customers on a daily basis as you deliver gas cylinders and supplies on a scheduled route in Charleston, SC. The Delivery Driver position does not require a CDL but will prosper in to a CDL qualified position with a higher pay scale, with company assistance. The work schedule will take place Monday through Friday with 5 hours of guaranteed overtime each week.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Safely and efficiently load, deliver, and unload Co2 cylinders and hard goods to local customers.
• Identify and monitor customers’ needs and maintain their desired cylinder levels to minimize or eliminate the need for emergency deliveries.
• Fill propane cylinders.
• Keep the inside and outside of the delivery vehicle safe and clean.
• Assist with and support general branch operations.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Willingness to obtain Class B CDL with HazMat preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 20 years-old.
• Excellent oral communication skills, ability to work independently, self-motivated, and ability to pay attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Excellent driving record.
• Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Ability to perform functions during occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling and finger activities. Frequent bending also required.
• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
