Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a Container Delivery Driver – Non CDL to safely operate a vehicle, deliver containers to residential and commercial customers, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes courteous service, accurate reporting, and daily vehicle inspections to minimize downtime.

The position requires maintaining safety standards, loading/unloading containers, and performing minor repairs at the yard.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure tires, fluids, safety equipment and controls are in proper working order.
• Reports safety issues using standard reports.
• Safely operates a truck along routes or within yard and services each customer as identified.
• Loads containers using manual/automatic controls per safety policies.
• Interacts courteously with customers, dispatchers and team members daily.
• Performs minor container repairs on site or in the container yard.
• Cleans areas around any spills and adheres to safety standards.
• Monitors vehicle condition to minimize downtime and completes required reports.
