Job summary

PRO EM National Event Services in Los Angeles is hiring drivers for heavy construction event sites. This role involves physical labor, loading and unloading equipment, and operating 24' box trucks and trailers with a CDL preferred. You will follow maps, assist with setup, and maintain a clean vehicle and work area.

Pay is $18 per hour with flexible schedules, including nights and weekends. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs;

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of experience driving large trucks.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate event equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performing simple vehicle maintenance.
• Keeping supervisor informed of any vehicle problems.
• Keeping assigned vehicle(s) clean inside and outside.
• Loading and unloading event equipment.
• Assist with set-up and installation of equipment and products for events.
• Reading and interpreting maps to plan efficient routes.
• Assist crew leads as needed.
• Setup tents, tables, chairs, and stages as directed by the Project Manager
• Construct temporary fencing & place road barricades.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Drivers perform tasks involving physical labor at job sites and heavy construction projects. The position may operate a variety of hand and power tools and may clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble and debris, and remove waste materials.

Responsibilities

• Performing simple vehicle maintenance.
• Keeping supervisor informed of any vehicle problems.
• Keeping assigned vehicle(s) clean inside and outside.
• Loading and unloading event equipment.
• Assist with set-up and installation of all equipment and products required for special events.
• Reading and interpreting maps and driving directions to plan the most efficient routes.
• Assist crew leads as needed.
• Setup tents, tables, chairs, and stages as directed by the Project Manager
• Construct temporary fencing & place road barricades.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License -CDL A/B is a plus
