Construction Driver & Event Setup Specialist

Job summary

PRO EM is seeking a qualified Driver for heavy construction and event sites. You will operate hand and power tools as needed, load and unload equipment, assist with setup, follow maps, and maintain vehicles in a safe, orderly manner.

Requirements include a valid driver's license (CDL A/B a plus), clean driving record, one year of experience with large trucks, ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, lift 50+ lbs, and flexible schedules including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• One year experience driving large trucks.
• CDL A/B is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performing simple vehicle maintenance.
• Keeping supervisor informed of any vehicle problems.
• Loading and unloading event equipment.
• Assist with set-up and installation of all equipment and products required for special events.
• Reading and interpreting maps and driving directions to plan the most efficient routes.
• Assist crew leads as needed.
• Setup tents, tables, chairs, and stages as directed by the Project Manager
• Construct temporary fencing & place road barricades.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
