Overview: Senior Applications Developer - RTLS (Real Time Location Services)

Position is Remote (Work from Home)

Be a part of Mercys Digital Software Engineering Department focused on digital differentiation and innovation in healthcare technology. This team is building modern & integrated technology solutions for Mercy patients, clinicians and coworkers. These solutions are focused on providing a connected, personalized and seamless experience to all its users. The team members take pride in the culture of continuous learning, improvement and delivery.
This position will be part of the Mobile Engineering Team to build Mercys mobile brand presence including the patient portal and clinical portals. This position will be critical to building a proactive, predictable and personalized experience for our consumers.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Five (5) years of relevant technical or business work experience.
  • Required Education: Bachelor's degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.
  • Other:
  • Experience with NODE, SVELTEKIT, Java Script, Web Services, Angular, Java
  • Detailed understanding of full software development life cycle. Extensive experience applying code management principles.
  • Extensive experience applying code management principles
  • Additional Skills:Proficient in iOS SDK, Swift, Objective-C, XcodeProficient in Android (SDK), JAVA/J2EE, KotlinExtensive experience integrating apps with RESTful , JSON / XML / SOAP
  • Web ServicesStrong knowledge of security and identity management solutions such as SAML, OAuth, certificates and encryption
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsMentors less-senior developers and performs code reviews for quality control
