Yalantis is a software engineering and IT consulting company in the outsourcing market. Our team has more than 500 specialists and continues to grow. Join and cooperate with us in Dnipro, Kyiv, Larnaca (Cyprus), Warsaw (Poland) and remotely from any city of Ukraine.

Now, we’re looking for an experienced Node.js developer to join the product that we are developing.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant apps.
• Implement security and data protection.
• Get rid of the memory leaks in Node.js apps.
• Use SOLID and OOP design patterns.
• Building scalable web applications with Amazon Web Services.

Requirements:

Node.js core, optimization

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with TypeScript, Nest.js, experience with isolating and transforming modules into separate microservices.
• GraphQL usage and understanding its key advantages in API-application communication.

Database

• Good knowledge and experience of pure SQL queries (since we have only console access to the test environment via container).
• Good understanding of Data Mapper, Unit of Work, Identity Map patterns.
• Experience or at least understanding of how MicroOrm works with those patterns.

Additional Requirements

• Experience with bullMQ jobs & queues.
• Strong CI/CD skills (GitLab pipelines, GitHub Actions).
• Proficient in using Git for version control.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest for unit testing.

• Experience with the phase/process of splitting a monolith into microservices.

Domain Knowledge

• Overall domain knowledge of FinTech.
• Understanding and experience in creating distributed transactions.

Intermediate strong level of English or higher.
